A certified translation is accompanied by a signed statement attesting that it is accurate and complete to the best of the translator’s knowledge and ability.

Why do I need a certified translation?

Common uses for certified translations include immigration applications, high school and university application and enrollment, and other local, state, and Federal government official uses.

What is the difference between certified and notarized translations?

A certified translation includes a certificate of translation accuracy written and signed by the translator. This is also known as “self-certification.” On the other hand, a notarized translation includes a certificate of translation accuracy that has been sworn before a notary.
